Once a case is linked to a Covetrus Ascend appointment, you can export documentation from CoVet back to Covetrus Ascend.

There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Covetrus Ascend Integration.

What Gets Exported

You can export various document types, including:

  • SOAP notes

  • Visit documentation

  • Discharge summaries

All content is exported as a Note attached to the patient record.

Formatting Support

  • Rich Text: Covetrus Ascend supports text formatting within notes.

  • Note Types: Unlike standard exports, you must select a specific destination for your note (e.g., Plan Note, Client Note).

How to Export a Document

1. Open the case. Open the case you want to export.

2. Export to Covetrus Ascend. Click Export to Covetrus Ascend in the top-right corner.

3. Review information. CoVet will show you a preview of what’s being exported to Covetrus Ascend. In the preview, you’ll be able to add or edit information like the content of your notes and vitals.

4. Confirm in Covetrus Ascend. Check the record in Covetrus Ascend to confirm that the information captured in CoVet has been successfully delivered to the PMS.
