Veterinary students can use CoVet Unlimited for free through the Student Support Program. Your access stays open for your whole degree and for 8 months after you graduate, so you can keep using CoVet as you start out in practice.
What students get
Verified students get the full Unlimited plan at no cost, with no limit on cases or generated documents. You don't need to enter any payment details.
Step 1: Sign up as a student
Create your account at app.co.vet.
During onboarding, at the clinic step, choose the role Student/Intern. A note confirms that students get full access for free for the duration of their program.
Choose your expected graduation Month and Year. This date sets how long your free access lasts.
Finish onboarding through to Start using CoVet.
Make sure you complete every onboarding step, so your student access is set up.
Step 2: Send proof that you are a student
After onboarding, you'll receive a Student Support Program email. It lists the documents we need and the date your access stays open until while we review them.
You have 30 days from sign-up to send your documents. During that time you have full access to CoVet, so you can start creating cases right away.
Email these documents to [email protected]:
Document | Where to get it |
Proof of enrolment | Download it from your school's student portal, or request it from your registrar. |
Student ID | A copy of your current student ID card. |
If you can't get proof of enrolment | Your letter of acceptance or a tuition invoice, together with your timetable, your student ID and your expected graduation date. |
Don't subscribe while you wait. Student access is free, so there's no need to buy a paid plan on the web or in the mobile app while your documents are being reviewed.
Step 3: Start using your free student access
Once your documents are verified:
Your free Unlimited access runs until 8 months after your graduation date.
On the Subscription & Billing page, below your plan, you'll see Free student access until followed by your end date.
The free trial banner no longer appears in the navigation bar.
Students at partner schools
Some veterinary schools partner with CoVet. If you study at one of them, your account is verified automatically and you don't need to send any documents.
Sign up with your school email address. If your school has shared a CoVet sign-up link, use that link.
Choose the Student/Intern role and enter your expected graduation date, as in Step 1.
You won't receive the Student Support Program email, because there's nothing to send.
If you sign up with a personal email address, such as Gmail, your account isn't linked to your school. In that case, follow Step 2 and send your documents to [email protected].
