Using the Vetspire / CoVet Connection

You can use this connection to pull appointments from your Vetspire calendar into CoVet.

Important Update: At this time, the Vetspire connection does not support exporting medical records back to Vetspire. This connection can be used to import appointments from Vetspire into CoVet.

1 . Access integration settings

Navigate to My Account > Integrations/Connections > Vetspire > Configure

2. Configure Vetspire Connection

Select "Configure" and fill out relevant information to complete connection
To share the connection with Team members, choose the relevant team under "PMS will be linked with"

The person setting up the Vetspire / CoVet integration needs specific Admin Permissions within Vetspire.

As a result, you may want to consider having a practice manager or team leader set up this integration for your entire team.

Specifically, a permission called "Manage API keys and associated API users" is required to complete the set-up process. You can find out more about Vetspire Admin Permissions here.

3. Import scheduled appointments

Once connected, your scheduled appointments in Vetspire will automatically appear in CoVet, allowing you to manage cases efficiently.
