How to use the connection following set-up

Mapping a template for use with the Cornerstone connection ensures that when you use the Export to PMS button in CoVet, all your notes and details are automatically transferred into the correct way.

Proper mapping streamlines your workflow and helps ensure that all information is organized accurately on the Cornerstone side.

1. Open the template you want to map

Click on Templates in the left-hand navigation bar. Then, select the specific template you want to map. For this example, choose the Advanced SOAP template.

For the Cornerstone connection, there will only be one option: Medical Note. Click Select and Continue to proceed.

5. Configure mapping options

At present the only mapping function that works for the Cornerstone connection is Exact Match so be sure to choose the correct option in this step.

On the next screen, you'll see several mapping options. For the Cornerstone connection, always choose Exact Match.

In the CoVet Section Mapping drop-down menu, select the name of your template — it will display as a list of sections, with the last option being the [template name] (All Sections). Choose this last option to ensure your entire document is mapped, or you can select a specific section if you only want to export content from one particular part of your document.

Once you’ve made your selections, click Save Mapping to complete the process.
