The Pack Leader Integration allows CoVet to import scheduled appointments and create linked cases based on client check-in status.

Imported cases appear on the Cases page, ready for documentation.

There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Pack Leader Integration

What CoVet Will Import

CoVet imports patients who are currently checked in (visit-equivalent) from Pack Leader.

Import rules:

  • Check-in detection: CoVet uses the tagIn field (check-in timestamp) to determine whether an appointment should be imported.

  • Multi-pet consultations: Pack Leader represents each pet as a separate appointment, so CoVet creates separate linked cases per pet.

  • Timezones: Pack Leader timestamps are in UTC. CoVet converts times to your clinic’s local timezone for display.

Viewing Imported Cases

Imported cases:

  • Appear on the Cases page

  • Are linked to the corresponding Pack Leader record via appointmentID

  • Include relevant Client and Patient details from Pack Leader

What's Not Supported

At this time, the integration does not support:

  • Unscheduled visits: An appointment with a valid check-in (tagIn) is required.

  • Not-checked-in appointments: Appointments without a tagIn timestamp may not appear in CoVet.
