How to Export Documents Using the Pack Leader Integration

Once a case is linked to a Packleader appointment, you can export documentation from CoVet back to Pack Leader as a Note.

Pack Leader is highly customizable, so CoVet allows you to select the appropriate Note Type based on how your clinic organizes records.

What Gets Exported

You can export documents such as:

  • SOAP notes

  • Visit documentation

  • Discharge summaries

Exports are sent to Pack Leader as a Note associated with the relevant patient and appointment.

Formatting Support

  • Rich text formatting: Pack Leader supports formatted text within notes.

  • Note Types: You must select a destination Note Type when exporting (for example, Plan Note or Client Note). Available Note Types may vary depending on your Pack Leader configuration.

Exporting Documents

  1. Open the Case. Navigate to the case you want to export.

  2. Open the Document. Select the document you want to send to Pack Leader.

  3. Click Export to Pack Leader. Select Export to Pack Leader in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Note Type. Choose where the document should be stored in Pack Leader:

    • Plan Note – Best for Treatment Plans (corresponds to the Plan section in CoVet).

    • Client Note – Best for Visit Summaries or client-facing documentation.

    • Additional Note Types may be available depending on your Pack Leader setup.

  5. Review and Confirm. Preview the export and confirm to send the note to Pack Leader.
