Once a case is linked to Teleos, you can send the completed CoVet document back to the patient’s clinical history.

Teleos receives the content as one Clinical Note, attached to the correct patient and practitioner.

There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Teleos integration.

Use these links to jump between these articles quickly:

Before You Export

The CoVet case needs:

  • A linked Teleos patient

  • A selected Teleos veterinarian or practitioner

  • Content to send

CoVet finds the owning client from the linked Teleos patient. You do not need to select the client yourself.

How to Export a Document

When your document is ready:

  1. Review the document in CoVet.

  2. Confirm that the case is linked to the correct Teleos patient.

  3. Select the correct Teleos practitioner.

  4. Export the document to Teleos.

CoVet sends the mapped content to the patient’s clinical history as one Clinical Note.

Currently, Teleos supports one patient per appointment. Multi-patient export is not supported.

Where the Note Goes

Teleos has one destination for CoVet documentation: Clinical Notes.

All mapped sections are combined into one note in the patient’s clinical history.

The selected practitioner is recorded against the note.

Formatting

Teleos receives the note as plain text. The integration does not support:

  • Rich-text formatting

  • Images in documents

  • PDF export

  • Separate Teleos note types for different template sections
