When someone invites you to join a CoVet team, you can collaborate on cases, share clinical workflows, and work within the same team setup as the rest of your clinic. Depending on your role, your subscription and billing may also be managed by the team owner.

If you received an invitation through email, make sure your CoVet account uses the same email address that received the invitation. Then follow the steps below to join the team.

1. Use the email address from your invite

Your invitation is connected to the email address it was sent to.

Your CoVet account must use that same email address. If the addresses do not match, the invitation will not appear in your account.

2. Create or sign in to your CoVet account

If you are new to CoVet, create an account using the exact email address that received the invitation.

If you already have a CoVet account with that email address, sign in as usual.

3. Go to Teams

In CoVet:

  1. Select Teams

  2. Open the Joined Teams tab

Your pending invitation will appear there.

4. Accept the invitation

Select the invitation, then choose Accept.

You will be added to the team, and CoVet will update your account automatically based on the role and billing option selected by the team owner.

If you were invited as a support user, your account will become a free support account. If you were invited as a paid team member, your subscription will be updated according to the team’s billing setup.

Don’t see your invitation?

First, confirm that your CoVet account uses the same email address that received the invitation. An email mismatch is the most common reason an invitation does not appear.

You should also:

  • Check the Joined Teams tab in the Teams section

  • Ask the person who invited you to confirm which email address they used

  • Ask them to resend the invitation from their Teams page
