Using Support Accounts

You can support your fellow team members by starting cases, making recordings, and generating a history report at the start of a visit, or editing and exporting records on their behalf at the end of a visit.


Support accounts are always free - Add as many as you need!


Most clinics will create a unique support account for each team member, but others create one support account per exam room.

What are CoVet Support Accounts?

Support accounts let you start cases, make recordings, and generate reports on behalf of a teammate to ensure smooth collaboration.

How to support a team member

1. Set up support accounts

Create a free support account for each team member or exam room to allow shared access and responsibility.

2. Begin cases and recordings

Use the support account to start the case record audio and generate a history report at the beginning of a visit.

3. Edit and export records

At the end of the visit you can switch to a vet account or continue in the support account to edit documentation and export records on behalf of your teammate.

Why use Support Accounts?

  • Keeps visits organized by assigning tasks clearly

  • Allows assistants or technicians to prepare the case before the vet joins

  • Ensures fast handover and accurate documentation
