Mapping a template tells CoVet exactly where to place information from your template when it is sent to Provet. If your templates already live in Provet, you can also import them into CoVet instead of rebuilding them by hand.
There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Provet integration.

Important to read before using the integration
How to use the integration following set-up
Mapping templates with the Provet integration ensures that when you use the Export to PMS button in CoVet, all your notes and details are automatically transferred in the correct way.
Proper mapping streamlines your workflow and helps ensure that all information is organized accurately on the Provet side. This can be done when you initial setup your Provet Integration, but here are two other ways you can map your CoVet Templates to Provet.
Import a Provet template into CoVet
If you keep clinical record templates in Provet, you can import any of them into CoVet as a new CoVet template. Importing a Provet template is available to users with an active Provet connection.
Open your CoVet templates.
Start a new template and choose Import from Provet.
Pick the Provet template you want to import.
Review the new CoVet template that opens.
A Provet template is a single block of text, so CoVet organizes the imported text into template sections, each with its own title, content and AI instructions. The imported Provet template is saved as one of your personal templates.
To refine an imported Provet template, select Edit with AI and ask Coco for the changes you want. Learn more in How to Use Coco - AI Template Assistant.
Once the imported template looks right, map it to Provet using one of the two options below, so every section lands in the right Provet field when you export.
Don't see Import from Provet, or your Provet templates? Check that your Provet connection is active. Your clinic's Provet permissions for CoVet may also need updating. Contact [email protected] and we'll help you.
From Templates
1. Open the template you want to map
Click on Templates in the left-hand navigation bar. Then, select the specific template you want to map. For this example, we choose the Advanced SOAP template.
2. Start PMS mapping from the template screen
Once you're on the template screen, locate the Preview for Provet button near the top left corner. Click this button to begin mapping the template.
3. Review the automated template
A new window will appear, prompting you to review the mapping for the CoVet sections and how they would appear in Provet. Here, you can make any changes to the automated mapping suggested by CoVet. If you need to make any changes, click Edit fields.
From a Case
1. Go to a CoVet Case
From one of your Cases on CoVet, from the record, you can select Export to Provet at the top right.
2. Review the Template Mapping
On this screen, you can review how the record will appear in Provet. If this is not to your liking, you can click Edit fields to make any changes in how your CoVet template is mapped to Provet
3. Edit fields of the template
If the template needs to be configured to map differently into your PMS, you can click on the different sections to make any adjustments.
You can export as an Exact copy or Adjusted for PMS. If you click on Adjusted for PMS, you will see the option to add AI instructions where you can write how you want to export your content. This is a required field if you selected Adjusted for PMS.
Once you are happy with your changes, click Save.
