Mapping a template tells CoVet exactly where to place information from your template when it is sent to ezyVet, using History, Exam, Assessment, and Plan notes.
There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the ezyVet integration.

Important to read before using the integration
How to use the integration following set-up
Mapping templates with the ezyVet integration ensures that when you use the Export to ezyVet button in CoVet, all your notes and details are transferred to the right place.
Proper mapping streamlines your workflow and keeps everything organized accurately on the ezyVet side.
You can set this up when you first configure your ezyVet integration, but here are two other ways to map your CoVet templates to ezyVet at any time.
From Templates
1. Open the template you want to map
Click on Templates in the left-hand navigation bar, then select the specific template you want to map. For this example, we'll use the Advanced SOAP template.
2. Start PMS mapping from the template screen
On the template screen, locate the Preview for ezyVet button near the top left corner. Click it to begin mapping the template.
3. Review the automated mapping
A new window will appear showing how your CoVet template content will map to History, Exam, Assessment, and Plan notes.
CoVet suggests an automated mapping for you. If you'd like to make changes, click Edit fields.
From a Case
1. Go to a CoVet case
From one of your cases, open the record and select Export to ezyVet at the top right.
2. Review the template mapping
On this screen, review how the record will appear in ezyVet. If it's not quite right, click Edit fields to adjust how your CoVet template maps across.
3. Edit fields of the template
Select a mapped section to make adjustments. Content can only be mapped to History Notes, Exam Notes, Assessment Notes, or Plan Notes.
For each mapped section, you can export the content as an Exact copy or Adjusted for PMS.
If you select Adjusted for PMS, you must add AI instructions describing how you want the content prepared for export.
Once you are happy with your changes, select Save.
