Checklists help your team track required steps for each case. Create your own lists or generate them from templates. CoVet can auto‑check items based on your recorded consultation.
Turn It On
Go to My Account when logged into CoVet.
Open the Checklists section.
Select Enable. You can disable it at any time.
Once enabled, a Checklist panel appears in each case.
Create and Manage Your Checklist Library
You can maintain multiple checklists and set a default for new cases.
Create from scratch
In Checklists, select New checklist.
Add items. Press Enter to add quickly.
Drag and drop to reorder.
Mark items as Mandatory where required.
Add sections to group related tasks, for example Vitals with Temperature, Blood pressure, Respiratory rate.
Create from your default template
Start a new checklist prefilled from your current default. Adjust as needed, then save.
Create from the template library
Select Create with templates.
Choose a clinical template, for example Emergency hospitalisation.
CoVet generates sections and items for you. Edit, delete, or add to fit your workflow.
Save to library and set defaults
Use Add to checklist library to keep a list for future cases.
Set any checklist as your Default so it appears automatically in new cases.
Use Checklists Inside a Case
Open the case and select Checklist.
Your default checklist loads automatically. You can add more from your library.
You can also create a quick ad‑hoc checklist in the case, then add it to your library later if you want to reuse it.
To remove a checklist from the case, select Delete and confirm. Other checklists in the case remain available.
Rename a checklist title to reflect the case, for example “Post‑op Day 0”.
Autocheck Items from Your Recording
When Autocheck items is turned on for a checklist, CoVet listens for key concepts in your recorded consultation and ticks matching items.
How it works
Record your consultation as usual.
CoVet transcribes the audio and analyses the text.
You will see an Auto‑checking indicator for a short time.
Items mentioned in your recording are checked automatically, for example Presenting concerns, Diet, Appetite, Medications and supplements.
You can still manually tick or untick any item. Always review autochecked items before finalising your notes.
Examples by workflow
General consult: Presenting concerns, Vitals, Diet, Medications, Differential list, Owner questions.
Hospitalised patient: Monitoring parameters, Fluid plan, Analgesia review, Nursing care tasks, Recheck schedule.
Discharge preparation: Medications dispensed, Client education given, Follow‑up booked, Documents printed.
Tips for reliable autochecking
Use clear phrasing when you cover checklist items, for example, “Diet”, “Appetite”, “Temperature”.
Keep related items grouped in sections to match how you talk through the case.
Give the analysis a moment to complete before you review the checklist.
Beta Notes
