What CoVet Will Import
CoVet pulls specific data points from Digimidi to streamline your workflow based on the following rules:
- Appointment & Provider Sync: CoVet detects scheduled visits. Note that an appointment must have a provider (Vet) assigned to it in Digimidi to be imported.
- Patient & Client Metadata: Automated import of names, breeds, and owner contact details to eliminate manual data entry.
- Multi-Pet Logic: Even if a client brings multiple pets, Digimidi treats these as separate visits. CoVet will import each pet as an individual case to keep histories distinct.
- Time-Filtered Sync: To keep your dashboard organized, CoVet is configured to only import appointments that fall within standard working hours.
What Is Not Imported
To reduce clutter and ensure data accuracy, CoVet automatically filters out the following:
- Absent/No-Show: Any appointments marked as "Absent" in Digimidi will not appear in CoVet.
- Placeholders: Appointment types designated as "Placeholders" by your administrator are ignored.
- Arrival Status: CoVet syncs based on the scheduled time rather than the check-in status.
Viewing and Syncing Cases
Imported cases appear on your Cases page and include relevant Client and Patient details imported directly from your Digimidi records.
When you’re ready to pull the latest appointments from Digimidi, just click the “Import and sync” button on the top right-hand corner of CoVet. You will have the option to choose the date range for your import, helping you plan for today's shifts or upcoming weeks.
