Mapping Templates for the Digimidi Integration

Modified on Thu, 19 Feb at 11:29 AM

Mapping templates control how your CoVet documentation is exported into Digimidi’s specific consultation text boxes. Digimidi uses a unique 5-box structure for consultations.

There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Digimidi Integration

CoVet allows you to map your generated sections to these specific fields, ensuring your medical records are organized exactly how your clinic prefers.

How Template Mapping Works with Digimidi

When exporting documents, CoVet preserves your rich-text formatting (bolding, lists, and headers) and delivers it to the following Digimidi categories:

  • Anamnese: Recommended for History, Subjective data, or the "S" in your SOAP notes.
  • Examen Clinique: Recommended for Physical Exam findings or Objective data.
  • Diagnostic: Recommended for the Assessment, Diagnosis, or "Differential" section.
  • Recommendations: Recommended for the Plan, Treatment instructions, or Client-facing summaries.
  • Examens Complémentaires: A specialized 5th box reserved for results such as Radiology, Ultrasound, Bloodwork, or Microscope findings.

Mapping Templates from the Template Library

1. Open a Template: Go to Templates and open the specific template (e.g., "Standard SOAP" or "Senior Wellness") you want to configure.

2. Configure Digimidi Export: Select the Integrations tab and choose Digimidi.

3. Map Your Headers: Use the dropdown menus to match your CoVet template headers to the Digimidi fields.

  • Example: Map your "Plan" header to the Recommendations field.

4. Save Your Mapping: Click Save to ensure all future cases using this template automatically target the correct boxes in Digimidi.

Mapping Templates from an Individual Case

If a specific visit requires a different setup than your library default, you can override the mapping on the fly:

  1. Open a Case: Navigate to a linked case and generate your documentation.
  2. Click Export: Select Export to Digimidi in the top-right corner.
  3. Adjust Fields: Before confirming, use the dropdown menus in the preview window to change which Digimidi box a section will land in (e.g., moving a specific diagnostic finding into the Examens Complémentaires box).
  4. Confirm Export: Once you click export, CoVet will push the rich-text notes directly into the patient’s consultation file in Digimidi.
