How to Use Multi-Language and Translation Features in CoVet

At CoVet, we know how important it is to communicate clearly with your clients, especially when they speak a different language. That’s why we’ve built powerful multi-language and translation features into the platform.

In this guide, Dr. Mike Mossop walks you through two key scenarios:

1. Creating a client summary in Spanish from an English consultation.
   
2. Translating and summarizing a French document into English.
   
   

Whether your clients prefer Spanish, French, or another supported language, you’ll find it easy to generate the right content with just a few clicks.

Scenario 1: Creating a Client Summary in Spanish

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Go to Your Settings:
   

   • Click on “My Account” in the app.
     

   • Then choose “Profile and Settings.”
     

   • Scroll to the bottom until you see the “Multi-language Support” section.
     
     

2. Enable Additional Languages:
   

   • You’ll likely see English selected by default.
     

   • Select any other languages you’d like to support—e.g., Spanish for this example.
     

   • ✅ Don’t forget to click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page!
     
     

3. Generate the Client Summary:
   

   • Go to the consultation you want to summarize.
     

   • Click the “Generate” button.
     

   • Use the Filter option to view templates in the language you selected.
     

     • For Spanish, choose a Spanish template.
       

   • Select the template (e.g., Post-Consult Summary).
     

   • Click Generate, and voilà—you’ll see a Spanish-language document ready to go!
     
     

Why this matters: Spanish-speaking clients will appreciate receiving a summary in their native language. It makes the consultation more accessible and builds trust.

Scenario 2: Translating a French Document to English

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Upload a Document:
   

   • Start by uploading a document (PDF, Word, etc.) that is written in French.
     
     

2. Generate an English Summary:
   

   • CoVet will automatically detect the language.
     

   • Choose the summary type you’d like (e.g., Medical Summary).
     

   • Click Generate.
     

   • The system will summarize and translate the content into English.
     
     

Tip: This is perfect for reviewing medical records, reports, or notes from international sources.

Mix and Match Languages
