The Cases page is your home base when using CoVet. It allows you to focus on today, or view all the work you've done. You can also take actions like generating documents or archiving cases from this screen.

Staying Organized with the New Cases Page

The Cases page is designed to help you stay organized and on top of your daily tasks by focusing on the most important cases.

Today's Cases View

  • The "Today's Cases" view prioritizes cases from the recent past or those coming up in the next few hours.

  • Practice Management Software Integration: If you use integrated practice management software, your cases will automatically populate overnight.

  • Without Integration: If you don't use practice management software, you'll start with a clean slate each day and can add new cases as needed.

  • The "Last View" badge and highlight indicates which case was most recently interacted with.

Viewing Options

You have two ways to view your cases:

  • Tile view: Provides additional information at a glance.

  • List view: Offers a column setup with details like practice management software sync status and the number of documents per case.

Accessing Other Cases

  • To see all your cases, click the "All Cases" tab.

  • Use the calendar button to navigate between days and view past or future cases. You can also use the arrows to move through days and return to the current day.

Exporting Multiple Cases at Once

When you need records for several cases at the same time, you can export them together instead of opening and downloading each one. This is helpful for end-of-day record-keeping, uploading to your practice management software, or archiving.

  1. On the All Cases tab, click “Select cases” to enter multi-select mode.

  2. Check the cases you want to export.

  3. In the toolbar, click Export PDFs.

  4. A Review Content pane will open on the right, showing everything included in the export. Deselect anything you don’t want before continuing.

  5. Confirm the export. CoVet will package the selected cases as PDFs and download them together in a single ZIP file.

Note: The same Select cases button lets you both bulk archive and bulk export , so you can wrap up the day’s documentation in a few clicks.

Archiving Cases

Archiving cases helps you maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Individual Archiving: You can archive individual cases directly from the case screen.

  • Bulk Archiving: Use the "Select cases" button to choose multiple cases and archive them in bulk. This is a quick way to indicate that you've completed tasks for the day.

You can also use the Filters menu to toggle between active and archived cases. Select Archived to view archived cases, or clear the filter to return to your regular case list.
