Once you've worked on a case in CoVet, you can export your note to Vet-Files. Because the case is linked to its Vet-Files appointment, your note goes to the correct patient, keeping your records complete and up to date.

There are multiple articles that will help you with different aspects of the Vet-Files integration.

Use these links to jump between these articles quickly.

Important to read before using the integration

How to use the integration following set-up

1. Open the case you want to export from

On your Cases page, click into the case you want to export.

2. Open the record you want to send

In the case content feed, click the record you want to send to Vet-Files to open it. In this example, we're using the SOAP record.

Review the record and make any edits, just as you normally would. When you're happy with it, move on to export.

3. Click Export to Vet-Files

Click Export to Vet-Files at the top right.

4. Review and confirm

A preview appears showing how your note will look in Vet-Files, combined into a single note. When you're happy with it, click Export to Vet-Files to send it.

Your note is written to the linked patient in Vet-Files.
