Mapping tells CoVet how to prepare your template content when you send it to Vet-Files. Setting this up once means your notes export the way you want every time you use the Export to Vet-Files button.

From Templates
1. Open the template you want to map
Click Templates in the navigation, then select the template you want to map. For this example, we're using the Advanced SOAP template.
2. Start mapping from the template screen
On the template screen, click Preview for Vet-Files near the top left to begin.
3. Review how your note will be prepared
A window appears showing how your template content will be assembled into the Vet-Files note. Review it and make any changes, then save.
You can send your content as an Exact copy or Adjusted for PMS. If you choose Adjusted for PMS, you can add AI instructions describing how you'd like the content prepared for Vet-Files. Instructions are required when you choose this option.
From a Case
1. Open a CoVet case
Open one of your cases, then open the record you want to send. Click Export to Vet-Files at the top right.
2. Review how your note will be prepared
Review how the record will appear in Vet-Files. If you'd like to change it, adjust the mapping here.
3. Choose Exact copy or Adjusted for PMS
Choose whether to send an Exact copy of your content or a version Adjusted for PMS. If you choose Adjusted for PMS, add AI instructions describing how you want the content prepared. This is required when this option is selected.
When you're happy with your changes, click Save.
