If you’re having trouble receiving calls through the CoVet in-app calling feature, it may be because your phone has accidentally blocked the number used to place these calls. This guide will help you identify and unblock the number so that calls come through properly.
Fixing Blocked Incoming Calls for CoVet In-App Calling Feature
When using the CoVet in-app calling feature, you enter your personal cell phone number as the veterinarian’s number. You should then receive a call from your client through this system. However, if your phone never rings or you don’t get the call, it’s likely that the Covet calling number has been blocked on your device.
Why Does This Happen?
- You may have accidentally blocked the number in the past.
- Some devices automatically block unknown or suspicious numbers without notifying you.
For iPhone Users:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Use the search bar at the top and type Blocked or Blocked Contacts.
- Tap on Blocked Contacts under Phone settings.
- You will see a list of blocked phone numbers.
- Look for the CoVet calling number used in your region (see notes below).
- Swipe left on that number and tap Unblock.
- Optionally, create a new contact with this number:
- Add a new contact named something like "CoVet Calling Feature".
- Save the contact to easily identify incoming calls from CoVet and avoid confusion with spam calls.
For Android Users:
- The process is similar but depends on your device model and Android version.
- Generally, go to Phone app > Settings > Blocked numbers/Call blocking.
- Find and unblock the CoVet calling number.
- Add it as a contact with a recognizable name for easier identification.

Additional Tips

- This prevents missed calls caused by automatic blocking or misidentification as spam.
